Artist's Statement

My current work as an photographer/artist explores the language of landscape, it is concerned with natural and man altered form, the built environment, layers of history and the relationship between people and place. I aim to create both a visual record and an expressive commentary. The work is realised as large scale photographic prints. Projects in progress are looking at the remains of the Atlantic Wall in France, the Contemporary Welsh landscape and Iran.
